A pair of Copeland & Garrett (late Spode) Meat Platters of large rectangular form, for carving meat, decorated in the so called Herculaneum pattern no 6354. The pattern based on engravings published in 3 volumes by Compt De Cayles in 1765. The decoration is inspired by the Hamilton’s vases.
