A French Louis XVI style ormolu-mounted amaranth, sycamore, marquetry and parquetry breakfront Cabinet *Sold*
A French 20th century cabinet, after a model by Jean Henri Riesener. The rectangular marble top with break front above an egg and dart edge over three frieze drawers and two long drawers with a central marquetry panel with instruments and a ewer, flanked on each side by a flowerhead-filled trellis panels, above a shaped foliate cast apron, with conforming flowerhead-filled trellis sides, raised on acanthus cast feet.
